On our flight home from Kenya we had a 6 hour layover in Zurich. We’ve also had delays traveling from Miami, Honolulu, and Chicago. Thankfully we have a Priority Pass Membership and were able to kill this time in a nice lounge with free food and drinks. Not sure what Priority Pass is, find out here. Our Priority Pass membership came free with our credit card. Here is a list of credit cards that offer free Priority Pass membership.

Do All Priority Pass Memberships Offered By Credit Cards Provide the Same Benefits?
While these credit cards all offer Priority Pass membership the memberships are not created equal. Here are the differences in the Priority Pass membership offered on each of these cards.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve offers unlimited lounge access for the cardholder and up to two guests per visit.
The Platinum Card® from American Express includes unlimited access to the cardholder and any authorized users plus two guests per visit.
The Business Platinum® Card from American Express offers the same Priority Pass membership benefits at the The Platinum Card® from American Express, unlimited access to the cardholder and any authorized users plus two guests per visit.
The Ritz-Carlton Rewards Credit Card includes unlimited access to the cardholder and unlimited amount of guests. While the card doesn’t limit the guest you can bring into the lounge keep in mind the individual lounge can deny access to your guests if they have limits. Authorized users on this card also receive their own Priority Pass membership card .
The Hilton Honors Aspire Card from American Express offers a Priority Pass membership that gives unlimited access to the cardholder and up to two guests.
The Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card offers a Priority Pass membership but it is limited. It only includes 10 lounge passes and while you can use them on guests once the 10 passes are done, you’ll have to pay for access.
The Starwood Preferred Guest® American Express Luxury Card offers a Priority Pass membership with unlimited lounge access for the cardholder and up to two guests.
The U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card offers a limited Priority Pass membership. You will be allowed to access the Priority Pass lounges for free for your first four visits and receive four guest visits. Once you use these you’ll have to pay for access to the lounge. Since you have the card you receive access at a discounted rate of $27.
If you decide to apply for any of these credit cards here are a few things to remember. You cannot just show your credit card at the lounge to gain access. You must enroll in the program by a specific link provided to you by your credit card. It takes a few weeks to get your card after enrolling. Be sure to enroll as soon as possible to take advantage of the perks on your next trip. Did you find this post helpful? Please share it!
