Seeing a Pod of Dolphins on Our Boat Ride in Captiva
We went on a Dolphin Tour with Captain Randy and were amazed by the amount of dolphins we saw. They kept following the wake of the boat and jumping in and out of the water. Our daughters still talk about this day a year later.
Watching Our Daughter Parasail for the First Time
The Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel has so many water activities to enjoy. Our favorite family moment from our trip was watching our then 4 year old parasail for the first time. She is so fearless and adventurous and begged to go. Seeing the excitement on her face while she was lifted up in the air is something I will never forget.
Canoeing to Find Manatees at Lovers Key State Park
Lovers Key State Park has so many things to offer. Our favorite moment there was renting a canoe to explore the canals and lagoons and coming across manatees. We played a game while we paddled to see who could spot a manatee first. When we did, we taught our girls about why it’s important to protect manatees from boats.
Racing Go-Karts Throughout the Night at Zoomers
As a competitive family racing against each other on go-karts at Zoomers was an amazing night. It’s the first place we visited where our daughter was actually able to drive the go-kart on her own. It was such a special moment for her and she expressed her excitement on finally being tall enough to enjoy “big kid activities”.
