As a mom who has traveled with a baby and toddler to over 21 countries on 6 continents I’ve had my fair share of testing out strollers. From walking over 8 miles in Amsterdam in one day to 10 miles in Paris I’ve learned a stroller can make or break your trip. I am so thankful I finally discovered the Joovy Caboose Ultralight stroller as it has made sure a positive impact on our travels.

Why You Need the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller
My daughters are in an awkward age where my youngest is getting a little too heavy for the carrier and my eldest doesn’t want to be in the stroller all day but still can’t walk for 8-10hrs straight. This meant it was absolutely pointless traveling with my excessively heavy Contours Options stroller. I always saw parents with a stroller that allowed one child to sit and one to stand and thought that would be the perfect option. Amongst my research I came across the Joovy Caboose Ultralight and I fell in love.
The Joovy Caboose Ultralight allows for two children to use the stroller. The younger child can sit in the front with a 5-point harness buckle while the older child has two options available. One option is to sit down and use a waist seatbelt or option two is to stand on the built-in platform and see everything that the person pushing can see. It also comes with a car seat adaptor for parents with infants in an infant car seat.
Many strollers that are lightweight skimp on important features such as a large canopy to protect children from the sun, the recline option so your child’s head isn’t bopping back and forth when napping, tray tables, and storage for the parents. I am happy to report the the Joovy Caboose Ultralight skimps on none of these.
Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller Features
As you can see pictured above the Joovy Caboose Ultralight has a very generous front canopy to cover the child sitting in the front. Even better, Joovy didn’t forget about the child in the back and if they are sitting down there is an extended shade for the back seat pictured below.
The older child can also stand on the back of the stroller if they “think” they are too old to sit or wants a better view of what’s around.
The Joovy Caboose Ultralight also allows for the child sitting in the front to have their seat reclined backwards for comfort when napping. The foot rest can also come up so their feet aren’t dangling when sleeping.
There is a built in tray with raised edges and a cup holder so your child can eat and drink on the go or play with toys or color.
I also love that it comes with storage for whoever is pushing the stroller to put your phone, keys, water bottle or anything you need.
Pros of the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller
- Easy to close.
- Affordable at $149.99.
- Much lighter than other double stroller options.
- The included parent storage for phones, keys, your own water bottle etc.
- It comes with a car-seat adaptor at no additional cost to use for infants in their car seat.
Cons of the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller
- When the front seat is reclined the child in the back will not be able to sit down, only stand.
- The stroller does not stand on it’s own so once you close it, it will fall down.
Overall I have been very pleased with my Joovy Caboose Ultralight!!
